Hill Factor came into being in late 1997, I started out small, running a small art & craft stall at the village fair..

Some people liked my work and asked me if I could run community workshops in Libraries and such..

It took a little while, but I enjoyed the work and eventually started to get work in other municipalities, libraries, schools, youth centres and even a couple of prisons..

Eventually, I discovered my real passion was for the tactile and functional beauty of Mosaic Art and for the next eight or nine years I conducted adult classes in Mosaic Design, as well as taking on quite a few commissions for Public Mosaic Artworks..

I still get a lot of 'gigs' with Public Libraries, Primary Schools and Community Groups for art workshops and classes with Little and Big people using Media other than Mosaic, (see 'Classes & Workshops')..
